Yes we can and Change we can, were slogans behind the driving force for the change that he has pioneered. Barack Hussein Obama has victoriously and decisively landed at the end of the long awaited journey that millions of American’s across all generations collectively paddled.

In what is widely hailed as a historic moment in the parables of global history, Obama’s electoral victory as the First African American President demonstrates that America has changed. It is indeed a change and a generational transformation, which he truly represents.

Throughout his extra-ordinary journey that ushered in his symbolic victory, Obama’s eloquence, manifested knowledge and leadership on both American and global realities earned him the confidence and trust of generations across global political horizons.

Successfully clinging on 349 electoral votes to his opponents 162, Obama’s victory indeed heralded the dawn of a new era in America and the civilized world. His victory sends a message of hope to both Americans and other world citizens across all works of life.

A representation of the world’s most enduring democracy, President elect Obama’s vision of bridging and bonding the American political and economic divide, his extra-ordinary campaign  of redefining American image, has transformed to an inevitable historical reality that landed him the oval office in the white house.

His triggered unstoppable wind of change has finally landed on the western shores of California,  Seattle, Washington, through the southern Savannah lands, the winter lands of Idaho, Nevada, to the eastern shores  of New York, and the White House, Washington D.C.

What do all these portend for America? Has Obama’s electoral victory shaped history?

Responding to these questions requires an in-depth analysis of American realities. What is certain is that America has turned its back on race as numerous analysts contended, by electing its first black President. The country has also overwhelmingly demonstrated dissatisfaction with the direction of the driving force behind its vehicle. The call for a paradigm shift in American economical and political state of affairs is truly what has been manifested across the political landscape.

President elect Obama’s electoral victory has therefore shaped history, brought change to every doorstep, hamlet, city, town and cubicles across offices of working Americans of all generations.  It is a true representation of the “audacity of hope,” that he advocated over the years. His victory is indeed that same “audacity of hope” for millions of world citizens.

The generational transformation that ushered in such historic moments will no doubt mold our communities, strengthened our institutions, safe guard the future of young Americans, restore American image under the visionary statesmanship and leadership of Barack Hussein Obama, the 44th President elect of the United States of America.

We have come a long way and still have ways to go. “The road ahead will be long. Our climb will be steep. We may not get there in one year or even in one term, but America - I have never been more hopeful than I am tonight that we will get there. I promise you - we as a people will get there.”  (Barack Obama).

Could we strengthened President Obama’s vision? With time we could collectively emboldened his embodiment of hope and reality for generations to come.
